Housing Growth and Sustainable Communities
North London as part of the London-Stansted-Cambridge-Peterbourgh Corridor, is a designated housing growth area. The sub region has a number of major opportunity sites which will be delivering large numbers of new homes over the coming years. The NLSA supports its partners in lobbying to ensure the investment needed to deliver the transport and social infrastructure to support this level of growth.

Seven Sisters Corridor /
Finsbury
Park
The NLSA, working with the boroughs of Hackney, Haringey and Islington, has been supporting a coordinated approach to growth along the Seven Sisters Corridor. The corridor runs along Seven Sisters Road from the Holloway Road past
Finsbury
Park
and Woodberry Down to Seven Sisters Underground station. The area has a series of major development sites with clear cross-borough boundary implications. The first stage of this work mapped out the growth potential and the key issues, including improving access to the area's parks and waterway and supporting the local economy.
